Surface Flux Syntax (CO2E)

STOMP-CO2e is designed to solve problems involving the transport of heat, water, CO2, and salt with passive solutes or reactive species through variably saturated (i.e., aqueous and gas phases) geologic media under non-isothermal conditions. Options for specifying surface flux output are divided first into explicit surfaces and linked surfaces, and then subdivided into single file and multiple files.  The multiple file option is currently limited to 20 files.

Input Data Types

Character string (e.g., van Genuchten, porosity, m^3/s, Roe Superbee)

Integer (no alpha characters, special characters, or punctuation) (e.g., 1, 32, 195634)

Real (decimal points and exponential notation allowed) (e.g., 0, 0.0, 1.e-12, 1.E+3, 2.345)

Keyword (exact formatting required) (e.g., file, ~Solution Control Card, binary file)

Number of Surface Flux Inputs in File

For each user specified output file, the following input line has to be specified:

Number of Surface Flux Inputs in File,Surface Flux Output File Name,

Surface Flux Output Files

The number of surface flux inputs may be written to one or more user specified output files. The sum of the “Number of Surface Flux Inputs in File” has to be equal to the “Number of Surface Flux Inputs”. The line containing the Surface Flux Output File Name is not counted in the Number of Surface Flux Inputs
