Lithology Card Options (-R)

Mineral inputs must be specified for each Rock/Soil Type listed in the Rock/Soil Zonation Card. Input specifications depend on the option used in the Rock/Soil Zonation Card.

Parameter Specification Options

Rock/Soil Zonation

Mineral inputs are associated with a rock/soil type. All grid cells with the specified rock/soil type are assigned the specified parameter value.

IJK Indexing

IJK Indexing

If the IJK Indexing option is specified in the Rock/Soil Zonation Card, then mineral inputs can either be specified in an external file with the values for every grid-cell ordered according to the IJK indexing scheme, or as a single value that will be assigned to all nodes in the domain. If a file is specified, units shown in the input line will be applied to all parameters in the external file.

JKI Indexing

If the JKI Indexing option is specified in the Rock/Soil Zonation Card, then mineral inputs can either be specified in an external file with the values for every grid-cell ordered according to the IJK indexing scheme, or as a single value that will be assigned to all nodes in the domain. If a file is specified, units shown in the input line will be applied to all parameters in the external file.

KIJ Indexing

If the KIJ Indexing option is specified in the Rock/Soil Zonation Card, then mineral inputs can either be specified in an external file with the values for every grid-cell ordered according to the IJK indexing scheme, or as a single value that will be assigned to all nodes in the domain. If a file is specified, units shown in the input line will be applied to all parameters in the external file.

Sub-Option

Restart File Overwrite

When the keyword "overwrite" is included with any of specified minerals during a restart simulation, the specified values will overwrite those read from the restart file.
