Reference Node Species Variables (-R)

When the EckeChem Module is implemented for simulating reactive transport, the following variables can be specified in addition to the operational mode specific Reference Node Output Variables.

Reference Node Variable NameSI UnitsOutput File Abbreviation
species aqueous concentration *  mol/L SPL
species volumetric concentration *  mol/L SP
solid species aqueous concentration * (T) mol/L SPL
solid species volumetric concentration *(T) mol/L SP
exchange species aqueous concentration *(T) mol/L SPL
exchange species volumetric concentration *(T) mol/L SP
species mineral area *  m2 SPMA
species mineral rate *  mol/s SPMR
species integrated mass * mol SPIM

Bold indicates actual keyword(s) that must be specified in the Output Control Card.

*Indicates that the variable is included in the Qualified Code.

(T) Indicates a total concentration on either an aqueous or volumetric basis, and can only be used with species listed in the Conservation Equation Card that are preceded by 'total_' (e.g., total_Ca++).

Tip
It is strongly recommended that the pre-processor, toECKE, distributed with STOMP, be used to create the reactive transport cards used by the ECKEChem Module. This ensures that proper syntax is adhered to and that consistency among cards is maintained.
