Directional Aqueous Relative Permeability Cards (GT)

Aqueous relative permeability functions can be specified as a diagonal tensor (i.e., unique aqueous relative permeability functions can be declared for the principal grid-coordinate directions).  If directional aqueous permeability is used, permeabilities must be specified in all three coordinate directions via the three Directional Aqueous Relative Permeability Cards (i.e., X-Direction Aqueous Relative Permeability Card, Y-Direction Aqueous Relative Permeability Card, or Z-Direction Aqueous Relative Permeability Card). The format of each of the Directional Aqueous Relative Permeability Cards is the same as the Aqueous Relative Permeability Card, except for the Card Title.  The use of the  Aqueous Relative Permeability Card assumes isotropic aqueous relative permeability, whereas the Directional Aqueous Relative Permeability Cards assume anisotropy.

  • General concepts for application of aqueous relative permeability models are provided on the Card Description page.

  • Aqueous relative permeability models, model options and model parameters are the same as for the Aqueous Relative Permeability Card and are described on the Card Options page.

  • Formatting instructions for specifying the aqueous phase relative permeability models and parameters are provided on the Card Syntax page.

  • Examples of Directional Aqueous Relative Permeability Cards for STOMP-GT are provided on the  Card Examples page.
